From what I can tell from the photo I have of the painting, I think the top color was poured on somehow and then an implement was dragged through to create the mixing of the light and dark paints, however, I am not sure how to execute this plan with acrylics, as they do dry quickly, much quicker than oils and so I don’t know if you can add a retarder to the paints or if I should just go for it.
